⚖️ Drop Rate Penalty - NEW
New Drop Rate Penalty System
To address the inflation of zeny and item supplies, we have implemented a new drop rate penalty system. This system adjusts item drop rates based on the level difference between the player and the monster. When the player’s level is significantly higher than the monster’s, the drop rate will be reduced accordingly, making it more challenging to farm high-value items from low-level monsters.
NOTE: Cards and MVP reward items are NOT affected by these penalties.
Drop Rate Penalty Table (For Drops Only)
Monster level >= Player level
Original drop rate (100%)
-13
Drop rate (100%)
-18
Drop rate (80%)
-21
Drop rate (50%)
-31
Drop rate (25%)
This system is designed to help balance the in-game economy by making it harder to farm valuable items from monsters significantly below the player’s level, thereby helping to prevent an oversupply of items and zeny.
Example Scenario (English)
Character Level: 50
Monster Level: 32
Step 1: Calculate the Level Difference
Level Difference = Character Level - Monster Level
Level Difference = 50 - 32 = 18
Step 2: Determine the Drop Rate Penalty Based on the Table
Using the Drop Rate Penalty Table:
A level difference of 18 falls under the 80% drop rate category.
Result:
If an item has an original drop rate of 10%, it will now drop at:
10% × 80% = 8%
With a Character Level of 50 fighting a Monster Level 32, the items will drop at 80% of the original rate.
